Startup Week is a five day celebration of your community. I am super excited to be involved with Tampa Bay Startup Week, which will be going on next week from February 8th-12th. I’ll be speaking at 2 sessions next week, and am really looking forward to bringing value to those who attend (more on that later…).
First let me say, I think it’s awesome that events like this are growing. Communities like this are a great resource for those starting a business or even for someone who is already up and running.
Anyone who knows me knows I am really passionate about people starting their own business.
I am also passionate about business owners being able to get educated on running their business. This event is a week packed with topics to help a startup or any business grow.
It is 5 full days of learning, and is absolutely free! No, seriously, you can attend 5 days of learning from fellow entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, etc. for free. If you are near Tampa next week, I highly recommend attending whatever sessions you can.
I will be speaking at 1pm and 3pm on Friday the 12th. I chose 2 topics to speak on:
The first is Designing Websites that Convert – This has become a popular topic to speak on and has become one of the key services we offer here at Red Wall Marketing. It is so often that a business has a website that doesn’t bring in business, so I enjoy teaching key elements that a business website needs in order to convert visitors into customers.
The second is Marketing Your Startup – Again, if you know me, you know how big of a deal I think marketing is. Marketing is everything in and to your business. It’s not just a method or strategy, it is EVERYTHING.
I am looking forward to a fun week of learning, meeting people, bringing value to anyone I can, and just supporting a great event.
